We waited so long for the World Cup – and in 4 weeks gone with a flash!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people of South Africa for the support, enthusiasm and warm friendliness during the past weeks.

Unfortunately the successful World Cup is drawing slowly to a close! The World Cup 2010 is very surprising for all participating nations! There were negative surprises such as the unexpected exit of the vice-World Champion France and the World-Champion Italy in the group matches.

What an unfortunate outcome: Germany lost against Serbia!

On 4 December, tension rose around the globe and 300 million eager eyes focused their attention on Cape Town… where the group draw for the 2010 World Cup was taking place. This is a milestone for the world’s second biggest sporting event which is being held in Africa for the very first time. There was a buzz of World Cup excitement in the streets where tens of thousands gathered and celebrated in front of big screens and watched the draw with fervent anticipation.
